Question: Soothing painful red eyes!?
my eyes are extremely red and itchy and painful!. it hurts to keep them open!. i dont know thats causing this im going to the eye doctor tomorrow, but what can i do in the mean time to make them more comfortable!? i took out my contactsWww@Answer-Health@Com

leave a towel under hot tap water until it's hot, wring out the water, then put the towel over your eyes and relax!. this should soothe your eyes=] good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
It could be that you have dry eyes, this would account for the redness etc!., or it could be you have an allergy!. Bion Tears helps a lot, two drops in the morning, and again in the evening!., if needed another application during the day!. I hope all goes well for youWww@Answer-Health@Com
What H3ath3r said and I would add to switch from hot compress to cold and back to hot again!. The cold compress will take down swelling and the hot will increase blood flow to area to help with healing!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
