Eye drops?!

Question: Eye drops!?

as far as I've been concerned eye drops were for itchy eyes!. however i always notice that everytime i look at myself in the mirror my eyes are always a little red, i have a photo shoot coming up soon and i was wondering if eyedrops also takes away the redness in the white part of your eye!? thanks in advance!
