Long/Short-sighted + Short-sighted = 20/20 vision?!?!

Question: Long/Short-sighted + Short-sighted = 20/20 vision!?!!?
Here's the deal!.!. my left eye seems to have 20/20 vision, maybe not perfectly, but doesn't seem far off it at all!. My right eye however, appears rather Short-sighted indeed; things from a distance get blurry when I shut my left eye, yet when BOTH eyes combined, things seem to be fine, however, with my right eye, I can sort of FEEL the bluriness, even though things appear to be fine, and it's quite agitating, especially watching TV!. What should I do!.!. get glasses or what!? I don't want any though :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can identify with this one!. The vision in my right eye is normal and the vision in my left eye was 20/50 last time I had it checked due to astigmatism!.

I was first prescribed eyeglasses in my teens for it but did not start wearing them regularly until several years later when I started having some of the problems you are describing!. I was having trouble seeing while driving at night and would get a ghost image effect with two slightly overlapping images!. I also had similar problems when I was watching the TV or playing video games!. My right eye could read the text and it was blurry and only somewhat readable with my left eye!.

I really did not want glasses either!. I even tried a vision improvement program to avoid them!. I had improvement but not what I was hoping for!. I ended up getting a contact lens for my left eye and usually only wear my glasses at home!.

If you think your left eye can compensate for the right then you should be ok for a while!. I did not choose to correct my vision until my right eye could no longer adequately compensate for it!.

I hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
