Answers:
Yes!. Lots of people in the US have only vision in one eye and can drive!. In most places you only have to be able to be corrected to 20/40 in your good eye to drive!. Just semantics, but you are not legally blind by a wording stand point!. Blindness is the condition of lacking visual perception due to physiological or neurological factors!. You are functionally blind in one eye and have normal vision in your other!. To be legally blind has a different definition that you do not qualify for (Thankfully, for you!) In order to determine which people may need special assistance because of their visual disabilities, various governmental jurisdictions have formulated more complex definition referred to as "legal blindness!." In North America and most of Europe, legal blindness is defined as visual acuity (vision) of 20/200 (6/60 in Europe) or less in the better eye with best correction possible!. This means both eyea are bad and the better one can not be corrected to 20/200 or better!. You do not fall in this category at all as you have normal vision in one eye!. BUT!.!.!.!.rest assured, you will be able to drive and you will be quite safe doing so, I am sure! have a great day and good luck learning to drive! How exciting!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Different states have different regulations as far as that goes!. For the most part you have to meet a certain requirement of vision acuity in the eye that you see out of!.
Obviously you will have a much bigger "blind spot" and so they take that into consideration!.

It depends on the laws where you live!.

In most places you can get a general driver's licence but you may not qualify for a special licence such as for bus or truck!.

Call the Ministry of Transportation where you live for an accurate answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you should be able to drive as long as you have at least 20/40 vision in your good eye!. My only suggestion to you is to be really careful when you do because of possible depth perception issues!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
