What's my vision?!
Question: What's my vision!?
My friend and I are talking about who has worse vision but I can't find out what mine is!. So I have a piece of paper from my optometrist from about last year!. I have no idea what it says, and the part that says "BVA 20/xxx" is blank! All that is filled in is this:

The power of your prescription doesn't necessarily equate directly to visual acuity!. (BVA means best visual acuity)!. Assuming you have no eye disease, based on your prescription, you acuity is probably somewhere around 20/800 in your right eye and 20/1400 in the left eye!. However, your measured acuity will vary a little bit depending on lighting, pupil size and so on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You are fairly near sighted and have a moderate amount of astigmatism!. With normal healthy eyes it would be reasonable to expect 20/20 vision with your most recent Rx!. To know what your visual acuity is without the glasses, you would have to ask the doctor's office for that info!. Like the other guy said, you cannot truly equate to what your visual acuity is simply by the prescription numbers alone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
As far as your prescription OD means right eye, OS is left eye, you have some astigmatism and a relatively high prescription!. There is no way to tell by looking at your numbers what you can see in relation to 20/20!. Your eye doctor can tell you based off your chart which line you were reading!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
