My vision is -3.00. What does that translate to in terms of 20/? vision?!

Question: My vision is -3!.00!. What does that translate to in terms of 20/!? vision!?
Answers:
No, there's no reliable conversion, for more than one reason!.

It varies for example by pupil size!. (without your Rx, look through a 1mm pinhole held close to your eye and see how well you see!)
And there are plenty of people who, whether wearing their correct -3!.00 Rx or not, don't have a good 20/!? score due to amblyopia, cataract etc!.

One could guess, at about 20/300 without the Rx and 20/18 with it, but it could easily be wildly different from both of those!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you mean with or without glasses!?

Either way, your prescription does not "translate" to your visual acuity!. Acuity has to be measured, it cannot be calculated!. Call your doctor and ask what it was at your last eye exam!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have one eye that's -3 (the other is better, I don't mean I have just one eye - I have two!)!. Without glasses I can't even see the E in an eye test and I thought that made it 20/200!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

im no doctor but i think so!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.did they give you two numbers or only one!? For example i have 20/30 visionWww@Answer-Health@Com

I read from another question on here that you can't tell because there are other factors that change your presciption!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
