Question: Q about eyes and headache!?
I already set up an appointment for Dr!. but curious and anxious to know so im asking!.!.!.!.I havent had an eye exam since I was like 10 and Im 21, Im developing bad headaches!. It literally feels like there is a hammer banging on my head right behind my eye balls!. I had PERFECT vision when i was younger but could possibly had changed!? I can still see things good but it seems like now when i try to look at words far away there blury or maybe thats my imagination b/c im thinking I might have a problem!. Well overall my Q is can headaches around eyes be a sign that I need glasses!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, headaches can have a number of causes but eye problems can be a factor!.
Just because you vision was good, does not mean it will continue to be- a change in your skull shape may effect the shape of your eye and thus it's focusing ability!. (It also works the other way, a friend of mine had bad eye sight and then when she turned 18 it corrected itself)
Good on you for going to the doctor, and don't stress about it!.
I was knocked over when I put glasses on for the first time, because eye sight gets worse gradually,not a sudden BOOM, you often barely notice until you get symptoms (headaches, can't read the board etc)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is a good idea to get an eye exam about every one to two years!. The headaches you are experiencing may be not be caused by your vision!. It is still a good idea to have it checked it either way!.

I have really bad headaches too and everyone keeps telling me i need to wear glasses, but it might not be the main cause!. Maybe you just suffer from migraines like me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, I had awful headaches until I had my eyes checked and got glasses/contacts!.
