What does it mean if you can feel the edges of your contact lens?!

Question: What does it mean if you can feel the edges of your contact lens!?
I'm 22, and after 9 years of wearing glasses, I decided to switch over to contacts!. I've been wearing my trial pair for only 2 days and everything is perfectly fine except for the fact that I can feel the edges of the lens when I look around or blink!. I'm assuming that it's because I'm a first time wearer and my eyes need to get used to them!. I pretty much can ignore the feeling all together but I am wondering if this means anything!. Are they supposed to feel like this at first!? How long does it usually last!? I love how crisp and sharp my vision is in these and am worried that I'm not supposed to feel them and will have to switch brands!. =(

FYI; They are NOT inside out, they are in the correct way, I am SURE of it!. And the brand I am wearing is Bausch & Lamb PureVision!. No redness, no irritation, no pain, nothing!.

What does this mean!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your eye is very sensitive to the lenses!. It is not used to having something in it!

This sensation (and I assume it is in both eyes and you are absolutely certain you do not have them inside out) will eventually fade!. If they are inside out the edges flick out just ever so slightly when closely observed!. If they are the right way around, they will be a perfect half circle and the edges will not be prominent!.

Some people cannot get on with certain lenses and the ones you have mentioned are monthly are they not!? Maybe the thinner daily ones might suit you better!. Or some with a higher level of moisture retaining!.

If at the end of the two weeks, you still can feel them, ask about different types of lenses and about dailys etc!. Don't give up, lenses are great and such freedom!

If I concentrate on them , I can still 'feel' mine, but I just forget them and get on with it!. It doesn't hurt and I can only really feel them if I think long and hard about them!. You really just become accustomed to them!.

I wish you all the bestWww@Answer-Health@Com

Are you soaking your contacts with the enzymatic tablets that are meant to remove the protein deposits from your contacts!? Mine only felt that way when I was lazy (on rare occasions) and didn't soak/clean them them properly -- but I was suggest the tablets-- see the link belowWww@Answer-Health@Com

well, i was going to say 'are they upside down' but you answered that!. plus, that usually hurts pretty bad when you blink and they'll normally pop out!. but maybe you should try another brand!. some are thinner than others if your eyes can handle it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
