Visible veins in my sclera?!

Question: Visible veins in my sclera!?
In one eye, I have some small visible veins in my sclera that are always present!. I've worn contacts for many years but have recently stopped wearing them, hoping the veins will go away!.

Will they go away!?
What can I do to help them go away!?
How long will it take!?

Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Well, it means that your eye has not been reciving enough oxygen, generally because of too much contact lenses use!. You don't have to stop wearing your contact lenses, just switch to a type that lets more oxygen through and wear them less frequently, like only 12 or 10 hours a day (for soft daily disposable ones)!.
As for the veins, they won't "go away", but they will (after a few months) be drained completely of blood and will not be visible (for the normal eye!. Your optometrist will still see them though)!.
You have nothing to worry about, unless you plan on having laser surgery, in which case these veins should be taken into consideration, as cutting them by mistake may induce a lot of bleeding, putting the eye at risk!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem!. Its from your eyes not getting enough Oxygen through your contact lenses!. My eye doctor told me they may slightly decrease but they probably will not go away completely!. He switched me to night/day contacts that allow more oxygen to pass through the lens to the eye!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com
