Has anyone got this eye prescription??!

Question: Has anyone got this eye prescription!?!?
L sph +1!.50 cyl +3!.5 axis 90
R sph +1!.50 cyl +4!.0 axis 80

Just wondering if anyone out there has a similar prescription and if so can you tell me what things look like to you without your glasses!?!?
This is my 2yr olds prescription!. He just got his 1st glasses today, and I am surprised at strong they seem!. (although he yet has to wear them from more than a few minutes!)
I am curious to understand how he must have been seeing up until now!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your son is far-sighted (that is what the plus sign means)!. The second set of numbers (plus 3!.50 and plus 4!.0) with the axis (90 and 80) means he has a very strong amount of astigmatism!. This means that everything is severely blurred, close up and far away, without his glasses!. If he won't keep his glasses on, then they probably are not adjusted properly for his face, so this makes him uncomfortable!. See if there are any red marks on either side of his nose or behind his ears after he wears them for a bit!. At his age, you might need to use a sports strap until he gets used to them because he really needs them to see!. If your son won't use the glasses, he will begin to have developmental delays, so do what you can right now, including making sure the Rx is correct and the glasses are well-fitted!. At his age, you will probably have to go back weekly to get his glasses adjusted!. Sears Optical will do that for free, even if you did not get the glasses from them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my prescription is L: -1!.75, R: -2!.00!. the "-" before the numbers means i'm nearsighted, so your son must be farsighted!. I'll tell you what i can see, but I don't think it would help much!.!.!.
I can kind of see large lettering (like newspaper front page heading size) at about 10 feet away!.!.!.it's fuzzy!.
anything from 6-12 inches away from my eyes I can see perfectly, since I'm nearsighted!. i think it would be the opposite for your son!. he needs glasses to read and see things up close, but can see in the distance perfectly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
