Bent my glasses. :/?!

Question: Bent my glasses!. :/!?
Yesterday before I went to bed I bent them!. I walked into my room and leaned over the bed and my knee pressed onto one of temples (i!.e!. the stick things that go over your ears)!. And no one is normal and one is bent!. :[

I need to get them fixed, but I'm wondering approximately how much it would cost!? I got them from a Stein Optical Express if that means anything!.

Help is much appreciated!. :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

Where I work, we adjust people's frames for free, even if they weren't purchased with us!. We do tell them that if the frame were to break, that we cannot be held responsible, since it was not purchased with us and most folks are fine with that!. If the frame is relatively new and if you think there may be a warranty on it still, I would take them to where you purchased them instead so you can use the warranty, if necessary!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If they are really badly bent they will have to replace the
'ear lug' (correct term) That is usually really cheap unless you have super expensive frames to start with!. If they are just
slightly bend sometimes they can put them back into shape with heat!. Mine did this by putting it in a box of sand that they keep warm and on the counter!. They slide the lug back and forth until it warms up and then straighten it!. Of course this also depends of what material the lug is made out of!. Usually the lens are the most expensive thing in your glasses to replace!. By the way they never charged me for that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The lens kept popping out of my husband's glasses!. He took them to Pearle Vision, told them what was wrong, and they fixed them for free! He didn't even buy his glasses from there, and they didn't ask him!. They just fixed them!. Usually those places have a sort of heating pad that they rub the glasses on to make them flexible, and it's no problem to quickly bend them back the right way!.

So, if I were you, I would take them somewhere like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will cost nothing unless part of the glasses needs to be replaced!. About $5 for nosepads and about $10-20 for temples!. Most times though, even if you think it is beyond repair, optometric techs can fix them without buying new parts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it wont cost much at all 5-10 dollars!. they might not even charge you if you go back to where you got them!. it will only take them about 10 seconds to fix they have a machine that heats them up so they can bend it easily!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
