IMMEDIATELY TAKE OUT THE LENS AND WEAR GLASSES INSTEAD!!!!!!! Go to your local ophthalmologist to get treated asap!. You could make thing much worse by wearing your lenses while having an infection!. Also, your doctor might suggest you not wear your lenses for up to a couple of weeks depending on if there was any damage done to your eye while having the infection and wearing lenses at the same time!. Play it safe and take out the lens rather than having to wait longer!. Normally he/she will just put you on an antibiotic eye drop to get rid of the infection!. hope this helps!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
You lined Logo to your eye dr!. and get something to get rid of the Infection!. Throw out both contacts because you can Spread the infection to the other contact!. Do not put new ones in until the infection is gone!. Wear your backup glasses until then!. I would probably throw away the contact case too Just for precaution!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Absolutely not, If you have pink eye as the days go by your eyes will mat and become swollen and may even close together and you do not want your contact in your eye during all this process!. Trust me I have had pink eye before and wear contacts and I had to not wear it in that eye!. If you think you have pink eye you need to go to your LMD (local medical doctor) as soon as possible!. He/She will give you some drops to put in your eye if he feels that you have pinkeye!. If you go early enough you will hopefully not have to suffer thru the bad parts like I did!. And trust me it is highly contagious I caught it from a lady just standing next to hear I might have touched the same sheet music!.
