my eye really hurts but i don't want to go to the doctor because my parents won't let me wear make up any more because of it!. but i don't think it's an infection it just hurts when i close my eye's and it is on my eye lid, and it's swollen but not red!. and it's only on the edge but please helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well wearing out-of-date make-up CAN cause infections, which is why your parents are proberly telling you not to wear any make-up anymore!. It could be various of things, sty, conjunctivitis, pink eye, i!.g!. Go to the opticians for a check-up, they're the one who check your eyes throughly and if they find anything abnormal, they're refer you to the doctors, if it's an infection, they'll treat it, don't leave this, it may cause more damage, for now, put some cold cloth on your sore eye!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You may be having an allergic reaction to something!.
If it feels like something is IN your eye, flush it out with water!. If none of that works!.!.!.
Take Benodryl or Tylenol!.

The discharge commonly accumulates after sleeping!. Affected children may awaken most unhappy that their "eyes are stuck shut," requiring a warm washcloth applied to the eyes to remove the discharge!.
