I got eye surgery when i was younger... does it have a name?!

Question: I got eye surgery when i was younger!.!.!. does it have a name!?

when i was four, i got surgery on my eyes!.
i was born with crossed eyes!.!.!. i know it had something to do with the muscles, and they tightened them or whatever!?
and i got stitches on the inside, under my eyes!.
is there a name for this!?

also i have nystagmus, is this connected!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had two surgeries at four and five for strabismus!. I think it was just called strabismus surgery, but I am not sure!.
