Anti reflective coating and trouble focusing?!

Question: Anti reflective coating and trouble focusing!?
I just received my new glasses and I had a anti reflective coating put on them and something about them is just off!.!.!. I don't see as well with them as I did my old glasses!. My old glasses had nothing on them (no add on I guess you can say) and they worked just fine so the only thing I can think of is the anti reflective coating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
No, the anti reflection coating can't be causing any focusing problem!.

It has to be something with the actual prescription that is bothering you!.!.!.!.the power, or the axis , if there is an astigmatism correction in them!.

If it isn't better within a couple of days, you should go back to the doc and have them checked out!.!.!.to be sure that both his prescription was right, and that they were made right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am wondering if your Rx has changed as well!. Usually AR coatings are not something that will cause you te see less, they let more usable light be available, so they do not as a general rule cause blurriness!. If your Rx changed you might have some adaptation time to be able to be comfortable with the new glasses!. Do not switch back and forth!. Wear the new ones!. If it does not clear up in a couple of days call your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Did you also have the kind of lenses that turn into sunglasses when you go outside!? I had the same problem and had the lenses remade 3 times but they were just never right!. I've had the anti glare coating before and never had a problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
