Am I allergic to my eyeliner or could i have hay fever?!

Question: Am I allergic to my eyeliner or could i have hay fever!?
Recently my eyes have become extremely sore and quite dry, and i often have to close my eyes for a long time to moisten them again, which often stings and makes my eyes run, resulting in my make up also running!! My mum seems to think i could be allergic to my eyeliner or my make up remover but i have been using the same eyeliner for ages and my make up remover wipes dont have anything in them really that i could be allergic to, as they are made by Simple and again i have been using them for ages!. Is it possible that i could have mild hayfever!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
When you close your eyes, the body's natural covering, along with its own moisture, should feel very comfortable!. If you have the opposite reaction, its possible you have an eye infection, in which case the eye would be rejecting what would ordinarily be soothing because it is re-infecting itself when you blink or close the eyelids!. It might be best, if this is persisting, to visit an eye doctor; if he suspects conjunctivitis, he can prescribe an antibiotic for you which will help you to get rid of the infection quickly!.

Eye cosmetics themselves can actually start an eye infection if they bacteria-laden!. When cosmetics are new, they are pretty much sterile; but, as they are used, and come into contact with air and other surfaces, they start to become bacteria carriers!. It is for this reason that many cosmetologists are now recommending that we not use a product for more than 6 months, even if there is a lot remaining!. The risk of incurring an infection is too great, and old cosmetics should be discarded, especially if it's something used a little bit, then not used for a long time!. While it's sitting unused, germs have a field day multiplying on the surface!Www@Answer-Health@Com
