It is not supposed to take as well if you have a high prescription!. My contacts were -7!.50, and I had slight astigmatism in one eye!.

When I first got lasik, my sight was 20/20 and 20/15!. Now it's gotten a bit worse, but it's still better than 20/40!. I do have some problems with seeing starbursts around lights when driving at night!. But it is still worth it to be able to see when I wake up at night, see underwater, and no longer be a slave to contacts!. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!.
