I wear day contacts and have taken very long naps in them before - absolutely no problems!. No 'moving around' of the contacts!.!.!.all it did was make them blurry/smudged due to my eyes being closed on them; and putting drops in them usually cleared that up!. I'd imagine it is the same way with night contacts!. I wear soft contacts!.!.!.I don't understand what people are talking about when they say their contacts 'move around!.' Soft contacts are quite sticky and literally stick to the eye!. I have to softly 'pry' mine off from my eyes at night, due to the suction/sticky effect!. It doesn't harm the eye, of course!. I wore my soft contacts on the Goliath rollercoaster at six flags!. They didn't so much as dry out or move around - zero problems!. It seems that only people who have astigmatism and/or wear hard contacts have issues with them 'moving around' a lot!. Mine do not move or 'pop out' - which is what I as a newbie originally feared them doing in an awkward place, when I first started wearing contacts!. Don't believe the 'pop out/move around' hype!. :-)

The only down side to contacts is having to keep them clean, which really isn't that hard!. If you get a little piece of dirt embedded in it!.!.!.you can just about guarantee that it won't come out (I've only had that happen with a few pairs in like 2 years)!. They get dry sometimes!.!.!.but mine are great at staying wet (AcuVue Oasys with Hydraclear plus)!.!.!.

The only 'problems' that arise are people that put them in correctly, wash them with water (instead of saline solution!.!.!.water can have bacteria microbes in it that can cause eye infects)!.!.!.and people that leave contacts in for days at a time!. Any contacts need to be taken out regularly - the eye needs oxygen!. If it can't get it!.!.!.I've read of people who had veins that started growing *into* their cornea because they were too dumb to take their contacts out for a while and let their eyes rest and get oxygen!. Even the best contacts do not provide 100% oxygen to the eye, equivalent to not wearing contacts - so it's best to take them out for at least 8 hours after wearing them for about 16 hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had blister/scratches things on my cornea!. I also had two friends with contact lenses who fell asleep with them so they got stuck to their eyes and needed to get surgery to get them removed!. They got eye patches and everything!. There are some risks but for me, contacts are a lot more convenient than glasses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
