I have a lazy eye.....?!

Question: I have a lazy eye!.!.!.!.!.!?

so i've had a lazy eye since i was about 4!.!.!. my parents found out late so that wasn't good!.!.!. i used to cover up my good eye to get my bad eye to work when i used to live in israel and i think it worked and when i moved to canada i stopped doing that!.!. and it didn't get worse or anything but it didn't get better either!.!.!.
im 17 now
my mom and grandma always tell me to do eye exercises like following my thumbs and stuff and breathing or something!.!.!.
i always kinda thought it was stupid!.!.!. does that stuff work!?!?
is there anything else i can do at home to make it my lazy eye see better!?!?
what kind of surgery or whatever can i do!? how much does it cost!?!?

Well there are many things you can do, (check google, they can find way more exercises than anyone on here can give you) I wouldn't try surgery, it can leave you blind if it goes the wrong way which you don't want that!

There is corrective surgery for a lazy eye as there are no home remedies to improve it!. Most insurances will cover the cost of the procedure as it is medically necessary!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my friend has a lazy eye too and he used the patch and that worked so see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
