Not good, obviously, since "zero" is the ideal, and not statistically the norm, either!.
But it's not remarkable, or indicative of eye problems beyond the short-sight itself!.
My Rx ranges from -7!.25 to -13!.50 from the best of the best eye to the worst of the worst!. And that range is itself an issue!.
Someone who doesn't need any correction would consider
-4!.00 pretty bad, but it's not that impressive as shortsight goes!.
I don't think it's ever been formalised anywhere, but "severe short sight" is generally considered to be -6!.00 and above!.
