I'm a 16 year old boy who would like to wear glasses!.!.!. The problem is!.!.!. I don't really need them! My eyes are perfectly fine! But I've been told that I look 4-5 years older with them and when I've worn glasses people think I'm like 20-21 instead of 16!.!. and I've also been told that I look handsome in them and ****!.!.!. I know it sounds stupid, and i probably is! But I would really like to have kinda bad vision which would make me wear glasses!.!. anybody got any idea on what I should do!? Maybe how I (I don't like to say this) can get poor vision on my eyes!? Does wearing glasses that aren't really mine hurting my eyes!?

The only problem with wearing glasses not prescribed for you is you won't see clearly!. Right now, light is coming to a focus on your retina, and with lenses not for you it will cause this same light to now NOT focus on the retina which will give you blurry vision!.
You can choose any frame that you like and have non-prescription lenses put in and nobody will know the difference!. It just could be somewhat costly to do for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes wearing glasses that are not yours can hurt your eye and since you have good vision you dont need the glasses since people say you look 4 or 5 with the glasses change the way you look and dress get a new wardrove and new hairstyles and make your self look more grown upWww@Answer-Health@Com
Hey! yes wearing glasses that are not prescribed will definately mess up your vision, it happened to me! and once I stopped wearing them, they kind of went back to normal but still see fuzzy!. You can try getting glasses with no prescription on them!. I know a lot of people have those and there's nothing wrong with that at all!. Good luck stud!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get glasses and have some glass (no prescription) lenses put in them!.!.!. like sunglasses without the tint :)

When I was around your age I wanted glasses and didn't need them!. When I got my vision tested, I just pretened like I couldn't see the letters when they got smaller!. If you see an F, say its a P or something similar!. (dont pretend like you can't see it at all, b/c then you may be stuck with the really thick glasses) They said I had an astigmatism and they gave me a weak perscription!. BUT remember that if you have glasses, you may have to wear them when you drive (if you have your license) and if you dont' have your license and in the future will be getting it and have your picture on your license taken with the glasses, you HAVE to wear them while you are driving!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
