Is there any chance that my eye doctor will say I should not use eye contacts?!

Question: Is there any chance that my eye doctor will say I should not use eye contacts!?
I can't see my classroom blackboard if i'm like 3-4 metres away and I can't read signs on streets sometimes!. I can't see from far away clearly!. Will my optometrist let me get contact lenses!? Or is there a chance he will say they're not right for me/I don't need them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Contacts will work for most people!. Some doctors believe that a person should wear glasses for a certain period of time before prescribing contact lenses!. I was glad mine did not!.

There is a chance that your doctor will say no if you have an eye condition that a contact lens could make worse, but most people do not!.

Also if you get contact lenses, be sure you have eyeglasses as a backup because there will be days when you are not able to wear your contacts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are certain situations where contacts won't work for people, like if they have an eye disease or something, but for the most part, there shouldn't be any reason why you wouldn't be able to wear contacts!.

There are several reasons for not prescribing contacts!. One way to judge their suitability is to get fit and see how it works out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
