how long does it need to be pointed directly in the eye before the eye is damaged!?
what ever it projects, that cant be a good thing (Radiation!?) i believe it was a class 2 Lazer, pretty powerful!.

Prolonged exposure would burn the retina, causing localised blindness!. Very serious damage which is permanent!.
