DON'T PANIC!!! You'll be fine!. When he puts them in you'll hardly feel them -- if you feel them at all!. The tough part is learning how to take them out and put them in yourself, but don't sweat that either!. It just takes a little practice!. Just follow the instructions the optometrist gives you and you won't hurt yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just got contacts about a month ago and I thought the same thing!. When I got there I was so nervous and scared, but after I watched a video on taking care of my eyes and contacts I felt better!. After the video I went into a special room and all I had to do was listen to the doctor talk about how to put in contacts and I did the steps as he said them and before I knew it, I was done!.

You might be lightheaded!. I was for the first 10 minutes!.

I don't think they would be any different than regular ones!.

Yes, you can feel it when you first put them in because your eyes aren't used to it and you will cry but after that it feels better because you realize that you don't need glasses anymore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know about different contacts for astigmatism, but I do know that if contact lenses are put in right, you really, honest-to-God, will not feel them!. If someone distracted you, you'd forget about it! I've had mine for a couple of years now, and I hardly notice them!. The only time they will hurt is if some dirt gets underneath them-- just carry a tiny bottle of eyedrops for situations like this!.
I've never heard of lightheadedness from contacts!.!.!. you should be fine ^_^
Good luck with your new contact lenses! =DWww@Answer-Health@Com

You'll be fine!. There will be some discomfort at first, which is just your eyes getting used to your contacts!. This is completely normal and it will not cause pain!. It might just feel a little uncomfortable! Good luck :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not really, they are just formed differently to fit different shapes of eyes!. You'll be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
