Question: Combine contacts AND glasses for better vision!?
I'm curious as if you can combine contacts and glasses to get even better vision with, let's say, JUST contacts alone!.!.!. is it!?
I was thinking this the other day because I have an appointment for getting new contacts in about a week!.
My thought was: can you, first get your eyes checked and get the best possible vision with contacts ALONE!. Then second, get your eyes checked once again with the contacts IN to get an even better vision!? This vision being achieved by wearing prescribed glasses on top of prescribed contacts!.!.!. two separate powers!.

In terms of what you are thinking of, no!.
With certain exceptions!.
A good spectacle or contact lens correction will get very close to the eye's best acuity, leaving little or nothing for the other modality to "add"!.
The limit of definition that the neural processing can use will have been reached!.
Exceptions:
where a strong spherical soft contact lens is used, in combination with an astigmatic spectacle Rx, to deal with a very high refractive error!.
where a glasses/contact lens system is used as a Galilean telescope to provide a small degree of magnification, mainly in people with marginal acuity for driving!.

no, often a persons glasses prescription and their contact prescription is different i think!. like, for me, sometimes at night i forget i have my contacts in and i'll put my glasses on and it's like!.!.really blurry haha!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
For people that have very strong prescriptions, yes they can be combined, but in general contacts will give the best, sharpest vision!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
