If there is something you think he isn't checking, ask him!. Examples: what is my eye pressure!? do I need to have my pupils dilated!?

The reality is that there are standard things that are checked, so it will seem like the same thing over and over!. While wearing overnight contacts, either soft extended wear or ortho k, you need to have the contacts and cornea checked more often than the rest of the eye!. So retina, pressure etc may only be checked every 2 years or so, but contacts, cornea and vision will be checked every 3 months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My suggestion, if you have any concerns about your eyes, don't feel ashamed or like you're wasting time by bringing them up!. If you feel you have already, I would suggest you find a new doctor, preferably an Ophthalmologist if you can, they are more likely to do the more detailed testing and it sounds like you already have some eye concerns and having someone be right on top of them and honest with you is very important! Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, do not feel afraid to question your eye doctor!. Ask if the contacts you are wearing are safe to sleep in!. I do suggest to have yours dilated at least every 2 years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
