I think you are refering to Ortho-Keratology lenses (Ortho-K)!. They are hard lenses that you wear at night, and they will temporarily reshape your cornea, so you can see clearly during the day!. I don't know too much about them, but you would have to talk to your eye doctor anyways to find out if you are a good candidate for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I assuming you mean the ones you wear overnight!. There are focus night and days, which you wear for 30 days continually, and there are many other brands (acuvue oasys, O2 optix) that are approved for overnight wear!. You can ask your optometrist about which brands you can wear overnight!. When you do that, however, your eyes will feel very dry in the morning!. You can put a couple drops of solution in your eyes and you'll be fine for the rest of the day!.

yes they're fine for people over 18!. in fact, probably only for people over 18!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've used Acuvue 2 and Acuvue Oasys and wore them overnight without any problems!. My optometrist is aware of this and doesn't have a problem with it!. I soak them in the cleaning solution every 2 days and put them back in again!. Reason for not cleaning them everyday is, my eyes get irritated from the cleaning solution, and changing solutions hasn't worked well for me!.
I have not heard of special contacts that you wear overnight, though!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

These type of contact lenses are available But it is wise to remove every type of contact lenses night time because even extended- wear contact lenses may cause severe and irreversible eye damage if used during night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

y would u need them at nite rnt u usually asleepWww@Answer-Health@Com
