Retina Hole in Eye - Eye Pain?!

Question: Retina Hole in Eye - Eye Pain!?
So, a few years back, I got notice from an eye doctor from an examination that there appeared to be holes in my retina!. Recently, in May, I went to check it out and they said that the hole didn't appear to be growing bigger!. However, I've been experiencing pains in my left eye (where the hole is) as of lately!. It's just a little jab, not searing pain, and goes away after a few seconds!. I was wondering if this was normal, since I can't find anything on it!.

Also, it should be noted that I do spend a lot of time on the internet, watching TV, etc!.!.!. and can spend multiple hours without break!.

So, yeah!. Could anyone tell me if I should see a retina specialist right away!? Or is this normal and caused by me over using my eyes!? (The next appointment isn't until Feb!. 2009!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Problems with the retina generally do not cause pain!. Inflammatory conditions in the eye can cause pain!. Dryness and fatigue can cause pain!. More than likely it isn't related to your retina, but if you would feel better, certainly go and get it checked out!. Maybe you just need lubricating drops, updated glasses, or in the case of inflammation, medication to treat it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
