Question: I have dark brown eyes and i want to get color contacts!?
What color would look best for me!?!?I have dark brown eyes brown hair and light skin!. I dont want it to be noticiable that im wearing contacts!. i was thinking of getting honey or hazelWww@Answer-Health@Com

Just got back from the optometrist with my colored contacts!. These are my first ones and although they have a slight prescription in them, I mainly wanted them for cosmetic reasons!. I have dark brown eyes and brown skin tone (asian, but darker than most asians)!. I got the Freshlooks Colorblends in green!. You can see how different color look on models at:

Of course, you will need to try them on yourself because each will be unique for you!. I wanted just a subtle change of lighter eye color, but everyone in the doctor's office said the green looked best on me!. I do like them, however, they may be a little too green!. For my next box, I will get the hazel, which lightened my eyes without so much green!.
At the initial appt!., I had a thorough eye exam and also tried on every sample Freshlooks color available (blue, amethyst, honey, hazel, brown and green)!. Many people like the honey, but I thought they looked too Halloween-ish and creepy!. The blue looked like my dog with cataracts!. I did not try on the other brand (Acuvue) but I heard those are good too!.
Today's appt!. was to pick up the contacts and for 'training'!. The contacts had to be ordered because of the prescription, but if you are just getting non-prescription colored lenses, they may be available at your first appt!. I watched a training tape and had to put them in and take them out 3x before I could go home (it was easy, and I have long fingernails!)!. i also have dark brown eyes and use color contacts!. I use a green with hazel tones, and it makes my eyes look very pretty and natural!. everyone compliments me on my eyes!. i think green would be a very pretty color, because since our eyes are dark brown, its not a bright green!. you can ask your eye doctor for color contact samples!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
