Any type of computer monitor can cause eyestrain but that is the worst of it!. If you are using a computer for several hours at a time, then be sure that you change your focus to a distant object and return your focus to near object and repeat the process several times about every 20-30 minutes!.
I also find that rapid blinking about 50 to 100 times also helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it sounds as if your having some vision problem- it is better to maintain safe distance of 33 cms from screen,lessen the bright ness- on and off take small break to see distance object-- keep the working place illuminated not exposing to natural light striait on your face---- correct your refractive error--have Good sleep with out light on the face-- and so 0n -- even if it is LCD type of moniter or TV they keep emitting infra red rays and uv rays in an unprotected distance---- will get you good relief fastWww@Answer-Health@Com
