Contact lenses newbie?!

Question: Contact lenses newbie!?
My prescription says that I have a base curve of 8!.4 but the optometrist gave me a trial pair with a base curve of 8!.7!. They feel fine and I feel no discomfort whatsoever!. He already ordered my contacts and the box says the base curve is 8!.7!. So do I call them to correct the base curve and get new contacts or is the base curve not really a problem!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I am an optician and a wearer of contacts and it sounds like there is a mistake in how the Rx was written,!. Call and make sure that it is written right for you!. The base curves are specified for a reason!. If it were not an important part of the RX it would not be included as part of the RX!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

best way to find out is to call your doc and ask
there could have been a mix up but it may be just fine
hope you like them better than glasses---they are so much easier perosnallyWww@Answer-Health@Com

well i wear contacts and i don't think it really matters as long as they aren't uncomfortableWww@Answer-Health@Com

If its not a problem for you, then don`t worry about it!.
