As someone who has been wearing glasses for 41 years (since I was 8), I can tell you NO, it does not hurt!.!.!.I have had it done more times than I can count!.!.!.!.all that happens is your eyes are a little sensitive to strong light for an hour or so!.!.!.(like when you first wake-up in the morning)!.!.!.
They don't put much in your eye!.!.!.
Now, put on those big girl panties and take good care of your eyes!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's a little uncomfortable but shouldn't be painful!. If you don't like the surprise factor of someone else dropping in the liquid, ask him if you can put the drops in yourself!. Your eyes will feel weird - really wide open, kind of bugged-out - but the only thing that will look different is your pupils!.

And ask for the reversing drops afterward - makes it much easier to go about your day!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it doesn't hurt really, but it is pretty unpleasant!. When I got it done, the drops were a weird deep yellow color, and made my eyes feel like they were sort of abrasive against my eyelids!. That was the most uncomfortable part of it!.

Avoid bright lights like the plague, even normal sunlight feels like you're staring into a spotlight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

not really!.
they just put in a couple of eyedrops in each eye, and then you wait!.
it just feels as if you got water in your eye, except that you can't read/watch tv/go on the computer until it wears off [a couple of hours]!.
and when you go outside, and if its sunny, they usually give you sunglasses because your eyes can't take the brightness in!.
they dilate your eyes to look into your eyes, btw!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hurt is a relative word!. The drops sting some people and really hurt others!.!.!.but overall, the worst part is the light sensitivity!. As for the reversal drops, sorry, the company no longer makes them!. If your doc has them, they either bought a ton of it before they discontinued it(about 2 years ago) or hes using really old and outdated drops!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's kinda weird with me cuz it was when I was about 11, a few years ago, and it just felt like they put water in my eyes!. Then everything started to get a bit blury but it wore off in a couple of hours!. I don't recall being sensitive to lights like everybody says all of the time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when the doctor puts the stuff in your eyes, they may sting a little!.after that your eyelids feel kinda sticky and funny!.they also feel heavy!.u should not look at they sunlight when your pupils r dialated!.

u can do it! i have faith in u!.believe me, i no!.its better 2 get it over with and never have to think that your chicken again then 2 b dreading it!.i think its kinda cool cuz your pupils get all big and the look really pretty!. hope i helpedWww@Answer-Health@Com
