How come I have so much trouble getting a proper prescription for my lenses?!

Question: How come I have so much trouble getting a proper prescription for my lenses!?
I go to the eye doctor and he gives me a presciption and when I go to get my new glasses with that prescription I can't see out of them!. Then the optical store uses the machine to check my prescription and it is always different!. They make up those glasses for me and I can't see out of them either!.

I have a lazy/weak eye that has a slight cross in it, which isn't noticeable - was a bit nearsighted as a child, no glasses until late teens!. Then in my late 30's reading glasses were necessary and with my short sighted problem persisting I should be wearing bifocals but I won't!. I am not vein just greedy, I want the entire lens to see through especially when reading and working on a computer!.

In the last few years my astigmatism has changed to a mixed astigmatism!. Is that the reason why I am having trouble getting the correct lenses!?

Here are the numbers for the best script I've had

Do you have any health issues!? Diabetics often have fluctuating vision!. It's common to get different results depending on the time of day your are tested, how tired you are, how much you have made your eyes strain!.!.!.You can test me one time and I have a small amount of astigmatism and test me an hour later and I won't!. That's normal, but I can see out of both!.
Also, it takes a little while to adjust to a new prescription, I'm a slow adapter and it takes me two weeks, some people it only takes a couple days!. Your eyes need to learn to relax and let the glasses do the work!. If your try on a new prescription late in the afternoon, it's normal for it to not be clear!. Your eyes have been straining to see all day, you put on a new prescription and they are still working hard, they need to learn how to relax and let the glasses do the work!.
Next time you get a new pair of glasses, take them home and put them on first thing the next morning, it should be better than the night before!. Then wear them for two weeks, if they still don't feel right, take them back to your doctor and have him/her recheck your prescription with the glasses on and recheck the glasses!. There is usually no charge for this and your doctor will appreciate how prepared you are and that you gave the prescription a chance before you came back in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are supposed to wear bifocals then wear them!. Otherwise, pay for a second pair of glasses that will address the second issue of your vision!.

I hope for your sake that you are telling your eye doctor everything about your vision problems!. Your eyes are too important to cut corners with your vision needs!.

Get two pairs of glasses or deal with bifocals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
