Question: Eyes not recovering from lasik eye surgery! Help!!?
My mom had lasik eye sugery on Saturday!. They had to do the laser more on her left eye because they didn't have it aimed right the first time!. She went back to the doctor's for a follow-up on Sunday, and her eyes were having an alergic reaction to the antibiotics they gave her post surgery!. We had to go back on Monday because her eyes were hot, itchy, and hurting!. It is Tuesday now, she is on a brand of eye drops now called "Refresh", and while the pain is not AS bad as yeasterday, it does not appear that her eyes are getting better!. They are still hot and itchy!. We have been putting her eye drops in the fridge to cool her eyes down, and giving her cold compresses over her eyes!. I hate seeing her in this much pain!.
Also, my Dad had the same surgery a few weeks before, from the same doctor, and the day after the lasik, he was out on the golf course!. So we know it is not just the doctor's fault!.

I had this procedure done several years ago and had some of the same symptoms your mom has, and they gave me Refresh to use as well!. It took a couple of days for the Refresh to really start being effective, but after a week the improvement came pretty quickly!. Hopefully it'll do the same thing for your mom, but going to the doctor on Friday if there is little to no improvement is still a good course of action!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Ive never been through a surgery before, but ive been close to it!. All I can say is go to the doctors and find out as much as you can!. Some things just cant be fixed!. Im very sorry about this!. You seem nice though :DWww@Answer-Health@Com
