Question: Stupid shaded glasses necessary or what!?
Are those glasses that turn to shades with light really necessary!?!?
My mom keeps bugging me that OMG! your eyes are gonna get worst!. I mean i dont even like them cuz ill be in winter and its snowing with shades on wth!. I keep telling her i take them off when they turn to shades and not to get them cuz i dont like them but she wont listen and i dont want her to waste money if i wont use them!. So are they that necessary or what or are they just a rip off from the eye doctor so that they will make even more money!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

They're called transition lenses and they are necessary for some people who have sensitive eyes to the sun, due to medical conditions!.
My grandmother has them after having many cataract problems!.
My mum is thinking of having them because she needs to start looking after her eyes now!.
Your mum is trying to do what's best for you but if you don't like them then no, she shouldn't get them!. But you sound really young, your Mum probably knows something about your eyes!.
Stop getting so wound up over it, you do have a voice you know, if you don't want them then tell the eye doctor!.
But if your mum has said 'Oh my God, your eyes are going to get worse', then I'm guessing there is something wrong with your eyes, that and is why your mum and your eye doctor want you to have them!.

I had glasses for 20 yrs!. and never had transition lenses so I don't think it's necessary unless you have some kind of eye problem!. Your eyes change to the light automatically themselves and if the sun is very strong, you can have clip-on sunglasses for your glasses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My optometrist told me that I should wear sunglasses after I got contacts!. Obviously, I didn't, and my eyes are fine!. As far as I'm concerned, if you aren't particularly sensitive to the sun, you shouldn't need shades!.

If anything,I'd love to have them!.It's hard to have sunglasses when you only wear eyeglasses!.I currently have the clip for my eyeglasses,but I would like to have the Transitions lenses in my glasses!.I think when I get my next pair of glasses,they will have them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
