Glasses.. Should I wear them all the time?!
Question: Glasses!.!. Should I wear them all the time!?
I'm quite badly shortsighted!. I went to the opticians the other month and they give me new glasses!. They didn't say when to wear them or anything!.!.!. I can wear them all the time because when things are far away, their clearer!. When they're close, it's just the same when I have them off!.
So should I wear them all the time or what!? My Dad said my eyes will get worse if I wear them all the time!.!. but that's coming from someone who never went to school and has no gcses!. So that's why I'm asking everyone on here :) Will my eyesight get worse or better if I wear them all the time!? What should I dooo!?

I recommend that you wear them all the time, being able to see clearly is pretty important, but if you're worried about your looks then go to contacts!. This is just me but I think girls are cute with glasses :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, wearing glasses can cause your eyesight to get worse over time!. It's like as if you had robotic legs - your leg muscles would deteriorate because you wouldn't use them!.
That said, I think it's more important to be able to see clearly, and once you're old enough you can get corrective surgery, so don't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I dont think your eyes would get worse if you wore your glasses all the time, but I have the same problem as you do, where things are blury far away but fine up close!.
I just wear my glasses at school during class if I cant read the board or something!. Otherwise I don't wear them if I can see fine, because truth be told everyone looks better without glasses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My friends who wear glasses all the time have their eye sights changed only a little bit!.!.!.!. but I don't wear them often and my eyesight seems to be getting bad!.!.!. you could wear them only like when you really need them!.!.!. just don't take it off, put it back on and do that over and over again like me!.!.!. your eyesight will get bad if you do that!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
