Wearing two different prescription glasses = bad?!

Question: Wearing two different prescription glasses = bad!?
Well i recently got new glasses, and now that my glasses are slightly powerful than my older ones, i was thinking of wearing my older ones for using the computer because wearing my stronger glasses wouldnt make a difference since the computer screen is up close anyways, so wearing my newer ones wouldn't be a good idea!. But what worries me is if i keep on switching between the two prescriptions, would that ruin my vision even more!?
(and of course, my two glasses are prescribed for me)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If you are near-sighted and your glasses were made stronger for distance viewing, then the old glasses might be better for computer!. This allows your eyes not to have to focus as hard to see up close through the glasses!. If you can see the computer clearly without the glasses, then that is really the best!. However, if you are far-sighted, the opposite is true!. You need to wear the new prescription on the computer!. The answer as to whether they'll ruin your eyes is no!.!.!.you just may experience strain if you are wearing them incorrectly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you have bifocals or single vision lenses!? If your new prescription is just for distance, see if you can get your optometrist to put in a bifocal for your computer work!.

It is not a good idea to keep switching back and forth because your eyes will never truly adjust to your new glasses if you do that!. You have to wear them to adjust to them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't think it would be that great, especially since it isn't a big deal to wear your new glasses!. Or you can get new lenses for your old glasses and have both!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. It won't ruin your eyes!. The lesser Rx should be fine for computer use!. We prescribe different Rx' s for distance and Computer all day long!. You are fine!Www@Answer-Health@Com

it isnt great bc the perscriptions dont match!. once u where the strong ones your vision will get worseWww@Answer-Health@Com
