Answers:
When I first got contacts- I was just as nervous!. It's weird thinking a plastic thing is going into your eye & is going to help you see better!.

When I put them on, the doctor was right there with me- kind of coaching me through it!. Don't be nervous if you don't get it right the first time!. I done it about 3 times before I got both of them in sucessfully!. They will probably make you put them in & also take them out- To make sure you get the hang of it!.
The first few days will feel kind of weird because you've never had anything in your eye- But after you get use to it, You will LOVE it! Or atleast I did =]

If you feel any discomfort in the first few days- That's normal!.!.Your eyes are trying to adjust to them!.!.But after a week or two, you should go back to your doctor so he can see how your eyes have adjusted to them!.!.If you've felt any discomfort when you go back- Tell him!.!.
He may want to try another kind of lenses on you!.

Well, GOOD LUCK!! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

They'll probably show you how to put them in at the office!. When I got mine, they told me I couldn't wear them all day at first so I had to start with just a couple of hours and then work up at all day over a couple of weeks to my eyes could adjust!. I'd suggest carrying a small bottle of the saline solution around with you for a while in case they fall out or you have problems!. It's must easier to fix them with the saline than water and it will help keep your eyes from getting dry!. Also, if it's really windy or dusty you might want to take them out-this always causes problems with mine!. And don't sleep in them, or atleast not until you have been wearing them for a month or two!. Once you get used to wearing them, they're wonderful! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, a few things!.
You have to be careful keeping the contacts and their case clean!. If they are dirty, they can get you an eye infection, then the contacts will have to be thrown away!. Also, be careful when putting them in and taking them out!. if your fingernails are too long, or you are not careful, they WILL rip, then they will be unusable!. And the last thing, if they bother you repeatedly for more than 1 week, alert your eye doctor, and before you alret them, check for rips(also take them out an rinse them)
Hopefully you'll love contacts, just like i do!
One more thing,DO NOT WEAR YOUR GLASSES (if you have glasses) WITH YOUR CONTACTS! It makes everything look really blurrry and it strains your eyes to see clear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They doctor will let you know everything you need to know, but anyways, contacts are easy to apply, they come with something to clean then with usually, and if not you can always buy it, you don't feel them on, and once you wear them a couple of times, you'll forget you're even wearing them

so don't worry ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

haha no worries, contacts are amazing!. Your going to have to get used to them!. there are things you will learn to do!. Like when i put them in i put a little solution on them to make them go in easier!. If you are tired they might be harder to put in at times, but sometimes it takes a few tries!. Also, buy some shades because they can make your eyes light sensitive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well First off,
they will just give you a regular check up
then they say, on your sheet it says that your interested in getting contacts and you say yes!.
They they bring to the room with the optometrist's assistant and he/she will teach you how to put it in and take it out!.
You will have to show them you know how to take it in and out and back in in order to bring them homeWww@Answer-Health@Com

You dont have to be nervous~ Most optometrist are super friendly!. They sure will guide you along =)
If you are really nervous, y not ask your friends or mum to accompany you!?

Last time when i first tried out contacts, i got my friend with me too!. With her, i felt its somehow kinda fun!. Haha!.

And yes, they will get you to try to put on/remove the contacts on spot!. That will be quite difficult for a beginner like you!. But no worries, just keep on trying!. After much practice, you can put on contacts in a breeze!

If you should have any other questions, just feel free to ask your optometrist!. I think its quite important to know how to wash your contacts correctly, etc!.

Good luck! =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't even worry about it!. The place I went to made me put it on right there like a little tutorial!. So i guess it depends on the place!. It doesn't even hurt!. The trick is to put it on the white of your eyes first and then slide it over your pupil!. You can touch the white of your eyes right not!.!.!.it doesn't even hurt and that's why they make you put it there first!. Remember to wash your hands!! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, they will first put a contact in there own eye, then put the contact in for you, then tell you to do it yourself!. Be prepared for lots of watering!.!.!.no mascara!. It doesn't hurt!. It is actually refreshing!. They will sit there with for like an hour if they have to!. I got it on the first try, but if you dont then most places make you come back like the next day and try again so you dont stress your eye out!. The helper person is going to be close so dont freakout!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I got my contacts they had me put them on right there and then they also had me take them out just to make sure that I could!. Yeah and dont worry about how much time it takes you to put them in or take them out!. IF it takes you a long time just remimber that you will get faster!. MUCH FASTER!. so just chill and every thing will be cool and will please make this the best answer I dont think i have one yet Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 14 and I got my contacts last year
I love them
and they will make you put them on there to see how you can do with them they'll also probably show a video too cuz thats what happened to me
there easy to put on and off
so really you shouldnt be nervous Www@Answer-Health@Com

They will probably have you put them while in the office, to show you the proper way to do it!. When I first got them, the nurse had me put them in a couple of times to get used to it!. Just always make sure your hands are clean when you put them in/take them out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they'll have you do it when you're there!. they'll teach you how to put them in and get them out!.
they're a little blurry at first but your eyes adjust to them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
