Answers:
i have heard that anxiety can cause this sensation!.!.!.but, ask yourself these q's:

1) was it only breifly when u woke up!?
- then it was just ur eyes adjusting!.

2) was it worse when u worried!?
- cuz then it probs was anxiety!.

3) did u have a nightmare just before this event!?
- then u'd have been phsyced out from anxiety

4) did u feel anything else in that time (eg!. dizziness, nausea, blah-blah)
- cuz then it was defs anxiety!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you're just psyching yourself out!. The possibility of your eyes staying crossed is an urban legend used by mothers to stop their children from making funny faces!. About you seeing double: did that sensation last very long, or was it very brief!? If it lasted briefly, it was probably due to your eyes adjusting after waking up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anxiety can probably cause these issues - it's not a herditary thing or anything like that, right!? probably not a chance of it being permanent!. Kinda like how my vision gets blurred when I get a migraine but it's temporary and goes away!. Bottom line is that you need to tell you're mom that it's happening and that you need to see a doctor about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
