I just had the same problem, and had to have laser eye surgery last Thursday!. I had a retinal tear!. My other eye has whats called lattice degeneration!. I literally just got a print out today about floaters and a dark curtain, to explain that would mean my lattice degeneration has become a retinal tear!. You need to schedule and appointment with an optometrist ASAP! Hope this helps, GOOD LUCK!!! Don't worry it only takes a minute to fix it and it doesn't hurt at all, just VERY bright lights!.
