So what should I do!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You want to just use contact solution, NO TAP WATER!. Tap water has some pathogens that our eyes just cannot handle, including acanthamoeba which can cause acanthamoeba keratitis, a very nasty inflammation of the cornea!. In addition to possibly contaminating your lenses more, water does nothing for cleaning your case anyways--it has no disinfecting properties!. The contact solution does!.

Once you have put your contacts in your eyes, rinse the case with contact solution and let it air dry (caps off)!. Use new solution each time you put your contacts in your case!. Get a new case every three months or sooner if your case seems to get dirty quickly!.

Hope that helps!.

EDIT: Yes, acanthomoeba is rare in water!. And it is nonexistent in contact solution!. I think I'll stick with my solution!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Soap and warm water then let it air dry!. The optometry student needs to read up on Acanthamoeba cause it is very rare!. It is a bad bug to get but again very rare!. Follow the directions in your contact lens solution box and you should be ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i just boil the kettle!.!.!.!.!.pour that water into a bowl and put the case in there and leave for a while!.!.!.!.take out and let it dry itself!.!.!.!.either way is totally fine thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com

You place the solution into the contact case and then set your contacts in them for the recommended time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
