Question: Whats up with my boyfriends eye!?
My boyfriend got elbowed in the eye playing football, and he has a black eye and a popped blood vessel!. this happened at least 2 weeks ago, and the black eye is gone but the popped blood vessel is still there ( it looks like his eyeball is bleeding) how long will that take to go away!? because he has his senior pictures coming up in a week and he wants it to be gone by then!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is called a subconjunctival hemmorhage!. It is just like a bruise and should go away on its own in a few weeks!. There is nothing that an eye doctor can do for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it will probably take at least another week to heal!. my aunt had a vessel pop and she had to do a theater show with it like that!. if its not looking any better tell him to go to see his eye doctor
