Laser eye surgery - optical express?!
Question: Laser eye surgery - optical express!?
I am planning to go to optical express for laser surgery!.Can any one tell me your experience with optical express!? Which is the best in London!?
Also, did it hurt during surgery or after!?
Do you have any other suggestions ie clinics I can go!?

My husband had this done at Optical Express and he got on absolutely fine, he had it done in Milton Keynes and then was able to have his check ups nearer to home in Cambridge!. He said it didn't hurt during surgery, it was a little uncomfortable afterwards, but he was able to see well enough to drive the very next day!.
He would recommend it to anyone and says it was the best thing he ever did!.

I can't tell you anything about clinics in London but I had just had lasik 3 weeks ago and my eyes did not hurt during surgery because they use drops that numb them!. You can smell the laser burning your eyes though!. Smells a bit like burning hair!.
Afterwards when I got home and the numbing wore off, my eyes were really hurting for about 4 hours and after that they were fine!.
