They can't get your prescription withyour contacts!. But they do have your old prescription on file!. You May be able to order another box of contacts, and maybe some glasses!. But not sure!?!? I do know however, your prescription could expire at any time!. It all depends on the person!. I have my eyes check at least once a year and they are always changing (even within 6 months sometimes)!.

So if you see well, then I'm pretty sure you can just call them and order another box! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Every eye doctor I've been to gives me yearly exams for both contacts and glasses!. I think the expiration date may be a state (not federal) guideline, but I could be incorrect!.

I would suggest getting another exam since your eyes may have changed!. This may cost some money up front but if your eyes have changed even slightly it may help you avoid eye strain and/or other eye conditions!.

Ask your doctor to take the prescription with you; you may be able to save money on the glasses/contacts at a different sales outlet other than your doctor's office!.

Finally, to answer your question about pricing, without insurance, my glasses (frames, lenses) would have cost about $330 (US)!. In my opinion, there is not much difference in the lens quality if you get the protective coatings or not!. I've had my lenses coated with it and without it and price aside, I actually prefer the lenses without the coating (which I've found starts to break down after a few years)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
