Good advice so far I think!.

To address Starling's answer:
The method you described to tell if the contact is inside out or not is not bad!. I learned basically the same thing but was told to fold the lens between my thumb and index finger!. If the lens is the right way, it should fold easily and look like a taco!. If it is the wrong way, it won't fold easily and the edges will flip out a little more (and not look like a taco)!.

I would assume that you got a thumbs down because you said you only change your contact solution out once a week!. The used solution needs to be dumped out every time you take your contacts out of the case!. Rinse the case with contact solution!. You should let the case air dry during the day and use new solution each night (or any time you put your contacts in the case)!.

Also, never use water on your lenses or your case!. It dries out and distorts the lenses and can lead to some nasty infections!. Get a new case every three months!. Always have a spare case and plenty of fresh solution!.

Sounds like you are enjoying the contacts and congrats on getting them in and out easily!Www@Answer-Health@Com

My eye doctor taught me something that helps!. If you're not sure whether the contact is upside down or not, put it in the crease of your palm, the one closest to your thumb!. Make sure the contact isn't too wet or it won't work!. Then slowly bring your thumb over your palm, as if you're going to touch it to your little finger!. If the contact folds in half easily, it is in the correct position!.
Keep your contacts in a case with disinfecting saline solution when not in use!. Each time you take them out, rub them gently between your fingers and rinse with clean solution!. This will keep protein from building up too quickly!.
I change the solution in my case about once a week!.

I noticed someone gave me a thumbs down although I don't know why!. Some of us cannot focus on things up close so the palm method works best for me!. I used to try to see the numbers below the rim, but I have to put on glasses to see them!. That is another way to tell, if the numbers are right side up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it should look like a cup, smooth along the rim if you've got the right side up!. disinfect your lenses each time before your wear them, after you wear them and make sure you wash and change the solution on your contacts container every time you soak your lenses in it!.
what i do is i place my lenses in its case right side up already so whenever i put them on i don't need to see if i got it right etc!.

once you get the hang of it you'll get to establish like a routine that works best for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it should look more like a teacup if it's right side up!.!.!. also it should feel uncomfortable if you put it in backwards

just by solution and rub them in it then put them in the case with solution overnight that's allWww@Answer-Health@Com

Congratulations on your contacts!. Important: how is your vision!?
I am surprised that you did not get a "care kit" with instructions!.
contact lens cases and cleaning solution are at any pharmacy or drug department of stores like walgreen or walmart etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
