Question: When can i wear contacts again after i had my corneal transplant!?
i had a corneal transplant on july 22, and the doctors will not let me wear any contact lense in my good right eye until when!? i have been wearing my old one cause i dont care what they say they are pissing me off, i hate wearing my glasses esp when school starts
i dont go to the doc until next week and i dont feel like asking him cause hes pissing me off
when do you think that i could wear them again!? i know you may not know the exact answer, but im just curious

your sight and health is more important than looking good!. seriously, either get some sexy glasses or stick to the ones you have!. asking a doctor would be safest thing to do as well!.
however if you don't care about your health, then i say wait a year!. why!? cause i know a doctor has a better estimation, (which, by the way, is probably in your favor) and i want you to ask him!. seriously, would you rather be "pissed off" for a week or be screwed with your eyesight for your entire life!?

The reason the doctors will not let you wear a contact lens right now is because it not only highly increases your chances of getting a serious eye infection (which could ruin your corneal transplant) but it also cuts back on the amount of oxygen your cornea is getting which is vital to help it heal properly!. You are risking losing all vision in that eye and should think about how you will feel 5 or 10 years down the road if you lose sight in your right eye because you thought you knew what was best for you instead of listening to your doctors!. They are doing their job by trying to help you keep vision in your right eye but if you don't do your job of following their orders, they cannot help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
