Thin ring of yellow around the eye pupil?!

Question: Thin ring of yellow around the eye pupil!?

I have blue eyes with a thin, yellow ring around the edge of the pupils (black part of the eye) it is in both of my eyes and no one in my family seems to have it!. As far as I know it isn't serious, or the opticians would have mentioned it!.
