The technician will show you how to do everything!. The hardest part for me was to train myself to actually place something on my eyeball- every instinct tells us not to do that! Once I got used to that, I was fine!. Contacts don't hurt!. While you get used to them, you may have to start out wearing them for a short while, then build up your time wearing them!. The technician teaching you will have you show him or her that you can insert and remove the contacts on your own!. You'll get a small case that holds your contacts and probably a sterile saline solution to clean and soak them!. I love my contacts, they're way better than glasses!. Good luck!

Edit:

I didn't asnwer all your questions!.!.!.sorry!. To clean the contacts, you will wash your hands and place a lens in the palm of your hand, along with some cleaner!. I use the type of saline that you can clean and soak all with the same solution!. Gently rub the lens with a finger from your other hand for a few seconds, then rinse with solution and place the lens in it's case with some solution!. Same with the other lens!. If you sleep with your lenses in, you can mess yourself up pretty badly!. They tend to dry out and stick to your eye!. If you try to remove them when this happens, you must be very certain to rehydrate the eyes/lenses with saline solution!. If they are not wet enough, you could tear a hole in your cornea!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Someone showed me how to put them in and all you do is put the contact on your tip of your index finger and when you put it close to your eye, the contact lens will grab a hold of your eye and you will feel it grab around the whole eye!. They do not hurt!. You will have to give yourself time to get used to them!. If you get the disposable you take them out and throw them away there is no cleaning!. Sometimes when you sleep they may get a little dry and you just put lubricating drops to re-wet them and them will be fine!. When you take them out you will put your finger on the lenses and just pull the lens down and slowly squeeze the lens!. Hope this helps you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
