Okay well i am 13 as well and i've had contacts since 11!. There really isn't a set age because my little sister is 10 and she has friends who wear contacts!. It's not really the age you are,its do you know how to put contacts in and if your parents/eye doctor thinks your ready!. I hope you get contacts there really great to have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
technically yes - HOWEVER it is completley at the contact lense opticans discretion if they will give you them!.
if they think you are mature enough to have them then they will give you them if not they wont!.
also it'll depend on your prescription!. if you've got a high prescription (roughly plus or minus -5!.00 or above) you'd get better vision in a hard lense which are quite expensive and also need to be cleaned every night!.
if it were down to me i would only allow you daily contact lenses due to your age!. but your prescription determines if you are suitable!.
best thing to do is go to your opticans and make an appointment and see!.
