Yes I have been nearsighted since like i don't know 3rd grade and have been wearing contacts everyday since about 8th grade and i am currently a sophomore in college!. I think contacts are pretty much just for people who are nearsighted now that i think about it more!. But to answer your question yes contacts would be fineWww@Answer-Health@Com
